Weekly Letter October 5

Dear Parents,

We hope you had a great weekend. Please take note of the following information:

  • Remember to read to your child 10-15 minutes daily.
  • Congratulations to our Student of the Week Natalia !
  • If your child is sick with Flu like simptoms, please have him/her stay at home to avoid spreading of germs. If a student is kept at home remember to send an excuse the next day.
  • We will have a presentation on 1-2-3 Magic on October 15th from 11:30 - 1:00 in Rm. 62. This presentation will be conducted by Ms. Ana María León Gómez.
  • Please refer to the Eagle Courier for information on Halloween activities.


This week we will be learning about:

Language: Letter Oo, sound, vocabulary and letter recognition.

Phonemic Awareness: Beginning consonants.

Math:
number 11 and pictographs.

weekly letter september 28

Dear parents,

We hope you had a great weekend! Please take note of the following information.

  • This week we will finish covering the content for last week. We will evaluate on Wednesday.

    Language: Letter Pp, sound, vocabulary and letter recognition.

    Phonemic Awareness: Clapping Syllables.

    Math:
    Numbers 1-10 (Identifying, number sequence, sets, and) More / less / equal.

    Social Studies: Honduras, land forms and maps.

    Values: Rules for caring and sharing.


  • Due to the days missed, we will not have Fiesta Catracha. However, the students learned pledge to the flag, national anthem, Honduran landforms and heroes.
  • Our Value for the month of October is Integrity "I will always tell the truth".
  • Congratulations to our Student of the Week Natalia!
  • If we are forced to miss school, please make sure you check the blog for information on activities you could do at home.

Remember it is very important that you read to your child 10-15 minutes daily.

Weekly Letter September 21


Dear Parents,


We hope you had a great weekend. Wow! We are in the middle of the first quarter. Please take note of the following information:



  • Remember to read to your child 10-15 minutes daily.

  • Please remember to send a copy of the deposit slip for the room mothers.

  • Congratulations to our Student of the Week Javier!

  • Friday, September 24th is Lps. 5.00 Color´s Day.

  • If your child is sick with cold like symptoms, Please have him/her stay at home to avoid spreading of germs. If a student is kept at home remember to send an excuse the next day. If they have been to the doctor and were ok. to come to school please have the doctor write a note stating this.
  • On October 1st we have a presentation by Ing. guillermo Aguilar"Motivación de valor agregado para la educación de nuestros hijos" from 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. in room 62 of the high school building. Hope you can all make it!

    review numbers 0-10(Identifying, making sets, sequence and practice writing them).
  • Continue reading to your child 10 – 15 minutes daily.
  • If your child presents any flu- like symptoms please have him/her stay at home.

As you are all aware, there is no school until Thursday, September 17th, please take note of the following information:

  • Please review letters Tt, Aa, Ss and Ee. Letter, sound, vocabulary and writing them. Remember to encourage your child to write them from top to bottom.

  • Review numbers 0-10(Identifying, making sets, sequence and practice writing them).
  • Also, continue reading to your child 10 – 15 minutes daily.
  • It is very important you review with your child during these days. This will help them stay on track and have a smooth start when we come back.
  • We suggest you take the measures on the e-mail you received last week to help keep our children stay healthy.
